Privacy Policy
Multi Faith Library is a reading app for the sacred texts of the world’s traditions. This policy explains what information the app handles and how.
Who we are
Multi Faith Library is an offline catalog of traditions and editions for respectful study. It is not an account service, social network, or cloud library.
Advertising
The app is free and shows advertisements provided by Google AdMob: banner ads on the Library and Search screens, and an occasional full-screen ad between sections of a book.
- Only non-personalized ads are requested. Ads are not chosen from your interests, your reading, or your activity in other apps, and the app does not ask for permission to track you.
- To deliver ads, measure them, and prevent fraud, Google receives technical information from your device, such as your IP address (used to estimate approximate location), device type and operating system, app information, and on Android the advertising ID. Google’s use of this information is described at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
- In regions where the law requires consent (for example the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), Google’s consent message is shown before any ad is requested. You can change your choice at any time from Privacy Policy → Ad privacy choices in the app.
- The books remain free to read whatever you choose.
What the app does not do
- It does not create accounts or require sign-in.
- It does not use analytics tools.
- It does not sell personal data.
- It does not send your bookmarks, reading progress, searches, reader settings, or what you read to a server or to advertisers.
- It does not require camera, location, contacts, or tracking permission.
What stays on your device
Saved passages, reading progress, recent searches, and appearance preferences are stored only on this device. Uninstalling the app or clearing its data removes them. Opening a book does not download scripture from the network. Listen (read-aloud) uses your device's built-in native voice engine to read text to you. The text you listen to never leaves your device unless your device's operating system settings explicitly send it to a cloud text-to-speech service.
Content and rights
Each edition in the library shows its source and license on its book page. Multi Faith Library does not own the World English Bible; “World English Bible” is a trademark of eBible.org.
Children
The app is a general-audience reading library and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Changes
If this policy changes, this page and the Privacy Policy screen in the app will be updated, and the date above will change.
